Group Therapy

Group Therapy

Group Therapy New YorkGroup therapy or group counseling is a shared experience with others who are working through similar issues. It provides an opportunity for you to share your healing journey and experiences with others, while practicing new relationship and emotional skills in a supportive and contained environment. Through group therapy, clients receive tremendous understanding, support, and encouragement from others, but they also gain different perspectives, ideas, and viewpoints. Group therapy, like individual therapy, is a powerful vehicle for growth and change, and can help you gain support, increase your self-awareness, and learn new ways to cope with personal or interpersonal challenges.
